Culture and Tourism Minister, Rais Munir Ahmad has said that proposal to withdraw ban on Indian movies would be discussed among different ministries and then be put before the cabinet.

Talking to BBC radio, the minister said that nothing would be allowed, which was contrary to the rules and regulations of Pakistan Censor Board.

Replying to a question, he said the film producers and directors might have some reservations. They would also get revenue, if the government allowed and they signed an agreement in this regard.

Revenue and employment would increase and piracy would be eliminated, he added.
